Abstract:
The evaluation revealed the truncated remnants of a ridge and furrow field system. A possible infilled field boundary ditch may have been related to a trackway visible on the 1888 Ordnance Survey first edition to the east of the site. Extensive drainage features of post-enclosure and modern date were also found, but no other archaeological remains. [Au]
