Abstract: |
This phase of the watching brief was marked by the chance discovery of a burial. It was thought to be Christian, laid east to west, and probably from the Late Roman period. Roman pottery was also found in the valley floor, suggesting a nearby farmstead or community. [Au(adp)] |
