Abstract: |
An archaeological watching brief was undertaken on the construction of a new sewerage system in the village of Tydd St. Giles. The work revealed evidence for medieval activity, including the possibility that Grimston type pottery was in production nearby. Also identified were the remains of a series of drainage ditches, of unknown date, all of which appeared as if they were filled as a result of a large-scale episode of flooding. [Au(abr)] |
