Abstract: |
Taken as a whole, the evidence suggested that there was a medium to high potential for prehistoric settlement in the area of the site. There was a low to medium potential for Roman and Saxon archaeology in the area of the site and a low potential for medieval and post-medieval occupation on the site. The proposed development would have seriously damaged or destroyed much of whatever archaeology may have been present. [Au(abr)] |
