Abstract: |
Two areas (totalling 390 sq. m) were opened on the former Chesterton Hospital site in advance of redevelopment. Despite severe 19th and 20th century truncation, several features of undetermined and possibly early date were uncovered, in addition to a small succession of late medieval/post-medieval boundary ditches. A small amount of residual 15th century material was also recovered. [Au(abr)] |
