Abstract:		 Three ditches, two of which correlated closely with the location of medieval ditches were identified. Observations made of an earthwork located close to the north-west corner of the site indicated that this feature comprised redeposited topsoil and natural clay, in all likelihood emanated from disused quarrying activity on the site.
