Abstract: |
A watching brief was undertaken during the groundworks for the construction of six dwellings (carried out between 2003-2004). The site lay within the core of the historic medieval village, which was likely to have pre-Conquest origins. Two shallow linear features comprising shallow stone filled cuts were identified and a small medieval and post-medieval finds assemblage was recovered. [Au(adp)] |
