Abstract: |
An archaeological watching brief monitored works associated with the development of the Hadrian's Wall Path National Trail with the Scheduled Monument of Hadrian's Wall and Vallum between the field boundary at Brown Diks and the field boundary east of Turret 34a in Wall Miles 32, 33 and 34. The works comprised the excavation of small holes into which the supporting timbers of a boardwalk could be inserted. No significant archaeological deposits were recorded during the watching brief, and no artefacts were recovered. [Au(abr)] |
