Abstract: |
An archaeological watching brief and excavation was carried out on the site. A sunken-featured Saxon building was encountered and a square headed broach was recovered from the fill. A possible 'hard' was identified and numerous medieval ditches and gullies were also encountered. 19th century garden features were also recorded. [Au(abr)] |
