Abstract: |
The evaluation site revealed no earlier features than those that were depicted on the 1841 Tithe Map. The recorded surfaces and associated make-up/levelling layers were all of 19th and 20th century date. No dating evidence was recovered from the construction trenches. However, a cobbled surface provided the earliest layer. The cobbles were thought to have been associated with the stables. [Au(abr)] |
