Abstract: |
Test-pitting to evaluate land proposed for development identified that a minimal depth of topsoil overlay natural deposits of gravel, sand and clay. Finds recovered from the topsoil were restricted to domestic and agricultural debris of modern and post-medieval date with the exception of 314 grammes of burnt flint recovered from 13 test pits. No archaeological features were identified. [Au(adp)] |
