Abstract: |
The works comprised the excavation of footprint of the southern and eastern wings of the proposed new building. Seven pieces of flint and one piece of chert were uncovered. A large ditch was uncovered in the south-west corner of the site. A piece of Roman pottery and a piece of lava quern were recovered from the fill. A number of linear features were present across the site. A small assemblage of medieval pottery was recovered from two of these. [Au(abr)] |
