Abstract: |
<summary>A watching brief was maintained on engineering test-pits on three separate sites in the Borough of Waltham Forest. All the archaeological potential had been destroyed by development on the Chingford Hall Estate site, and little survived on the Cathall Road Estate site. On the Oliver Close Estate, two areas of archaeological interest remained: the first contained structural remains of the Victorian tenements and the second contained material diagnostic of the Prehistoric period. {italon}AIP{italoff}{spacea} |
