Abstract:		 A watching brief and low level building record were carried out during refurbishment of parts of the Model Farm. Cobbled surfaces and foundations of former structures were found, including one almost complete outline, and several wall footings, probably belonging to a building shown on a 18th century map. The existing farmhouse was shown to have been built in several phases and some of its fittings were dated; they suggested an earlier date for the farmhouse than previously thought. Records were made of the roof structures of the 'granary' building and farmhouse. [Au(adp)]
