Abstract: |
The site of the development lay within an area of extensive prehistoric and Romano-British occupation, and the cropmarks of a ditched field system and rectangular enclosures, probably of that date, lay to the north. No archaeological features were identified, and only two artefacts were recovered, a single flint flake and a small sherd of 19th century pottery. [AIP] |
