Abstract: |
Desk-based assessment, together with reconnaissance and detailed magnetometer surveys were carried out on a site proposed for development. The only site identified was the continuation of a Late Iron Age settlement, revealed in 1995 during the laying of a pipeline. Other geophysical anomalies indicated the ploughed out remains of ridge and furrow and modern land drains. The desk-based assessment identified no new sites. [Au] |
