Abstract: |
No pre-20th century features or artefacts were observed on the site, though the character of the of the horizon suggested that the soil level has been artificially raised through the process of cultivation and manuring. There were occasional spreads of chalk where outhouses have been situated and the soil contained the occasional concentration of scrap metal. [Au(abr)] |
