Abstract: |
Two brick structures, possible vaults associated with the churchyard, were recorded and partially excavated during the watching brief. Several re-deposited 18th-19th century gravestones and two stone sarcophagus shaped grave markers were also recorded. No in situ burials were removed. Archaeological deposits were recorded in plan, the highest survival of archaeological deposits occurred at 5.2m OD. Natural ground was not observed. [Au(abr)] |
