Abstract: |
The assessment identified five archaeologically significant sites within the study area. Three of these sites were recorded as undated cropmarks, identified from air-photographic study. A site visit identified a previously unrecorded low bank or lynchet on a modern field boundary. This feature may have been related to agricultural practice pre-dating the imposition of the modern enclosed field pattern, probably in the 18th or early 19th century. [Au(abr)] |
