Abstract:
A watching brief was undertaken during the excavation of sea defences at Budd's Farm WTW. An 11.7 metre long linear row of 58 stakes oriented on a northwest/southeast axis was recorded, and may have been the remains of a timber revetment. The stakes were of likely modern origins and were retained in situ beneath the newly-installed gabions. [Au]
