Abstract: |
An evaluation was carried out at the proposed site of a residential development, close to the medieval core of Marlow. A Mesolithic axe, possible Bronze Age ring ditches and two prehistoric burials had been recorded nearby. During the evaluation, post-medieval pits and ditches were recorded. These may have been associated with former use of the site as a military college. Finds included fragments of glass pottery and clay pipe, as well as three struck flints. [AIP] |
