Abstract: |
A total of four trenches were excavated. Post-medieval activity comprised the large part of the archaeology on the site: Victorian structures and deposits were found in all trenches. Trenches three and four were in close proximity to the listed frontage of the school on Church Street and yielded remains associated with the school buildings, while the structures in trench two were linked with Victorian houses fronting onto the street.
