Abstract: |
<summary2>A watching brief was carried out during construction work on a site which appeared to lie across the "Line of Circumvallation", a Parliamentarian earthwork constructed during the Civil War siege of Newark. No archaeological features were identified and the "Line of Circumvallation" was thus thought to lie beyond the limits of the areas revealed during the development. {italon}AIP{italoff} |
