Abstract: |
A desk-based assessment was undertaken on a proposed quarry extension area. The assessment identified the potential impact on an area of known metal working from the Late Iron Age to the medieval period. The assessment also identified a low potential for an unknown prehistoric or Roman site within the development area. The quarry would impact on River Bytham sands and gravels, which may have contained remains or environmental evidence relating to the Palaeolithic period. [Au(abr)] |
