Abstract: |
An evaluation of an area proposed for residential development was undertaken to determine the presence/absence of significant archaeological remains. This was achieved by the excavation of one 10m trench. The evaluation failed to find any significant archaeological remains. A late 19th-20th century agricultural soil extended across the evaluation area, sealing 19th century features which were possibly related to the site's occupation by Parish Rooms. [Au] |
