Abstract: |
An archaeological assessment was carried out on a proposed redevelopment site. The assessment identified that the site had potential for Roman archaeology, associated with a Roman road that ran adjacent to the site. The potential for features associated with the canal were also identified. The assessment concluded that building recording should be undertaken on the modern factory buildings and a trial excavation. [Au(abr)] |
