Abstract: |
An archaeological desk-based assessment was undertaken after proposals for a new public transport system were outlined. The report sought to review the historical development of the riverside and then to examine the particular archaeological implications of a cable-operated section of the route. It was concluded that the route as it presently existed presented no identifiable threat to archaeological features or deposits or to Listed buildings along the route. [AIP] |
