Abstract: |
A layer of construction debris associated with the major rebuilding of the church in 1863 was recorded, and the deep layer of soil was considered characteristic of material excavated for burials elsewhere and subsequently spread evenly over the churchyard. No graves were disturbed and it was reasonably concluded that no part of the earlier church extended north-east of the present building. [Au(adp)] |
