Abstract: |
<summary>Sample trenches were excavated and only walls and a drain of 19th century date were found. Alternating silty clay and a peat deposit 1m thick indicated at least two phases of transgression and regression in sea levels. Marsh deposits encountered on the site represented part of the terminal end of the Lambeth marshes. {italon}AIP{italoff}{spacea}{italon}SMR Primary Record Numbers:{italoff} GLSMR091991 - 091993 |
