Abstract: |
Two evaluation trenches were excavated, revealing well preserved late Saxon and medieval features of varied use, including quarry pits, a furrow and a wall footing and post holes with further pitting. The site was thought to highlight the continuities of land use and possible late Saxon origins to the 21st century core of Manton. [Au(adp)] |
