Abstract: |
The assessment on land at Teats Hill concluded that there was a theoretial potential for the survival of Pleistocene material to survive within fissures in a ridge of limestone rock which passed through the site. The main focus of archaeological potential was placed on the possible presence of mid-late 17th century buildings, including a rope and tar house, and of the south wall of the East Pier which was a Grade II Listed Building.
