Abstract: |
The evidence recovered from the desk-based assessment suggests that Seaton was a place of great archaeological interest. Roman remains and small port facilities may be found on the site of the proposed development. The report suggested doubts about Seaton's medieval town status; however, there was no question that it was a sizeable village at least. [Au(adp)] |
