Abstract: |
The excavation of the entire site revealed a palaeochannel which had a fragment of Bronze Age pottery, an early Saxon sherd of pottery recovered from a gully, a ditch dated to the Saxon period, numerous medieval rubbish pits and boundary ditches, late 14th century/early 15th century kiln floors in a tile walled kiln, and significant post-medieval activity with two separate complete horse burials with their horse shoes intact.
