Abstract: |
An evaluation was carried out at the proposed site of a housing development. A Mesolithic handaxe and an Iron Age trackway had been recorded in the vicinity. The site itself had lain within open ground until after WW1. Seven trenches were excavated, and two field drains which were probably of post-medieval date were discovered. No significant finds or features were recorded, and it was concluded that no further work would be necessary.[AIP] |
