Abstract: |
An archaeological watching brief was required in advance of a new residential development. The upper levels of the site were extensively disturbed by the demolished remains of an earlier 20th century workshop. Deposits at lower levels were primarily natural accumulations of alluvium associated with an adjacent stream, though containing occasional organic remains and material of Roman and medieval date. No other evidence of archaeological significance was recovered. [Au(abr)] |
