Abstract: |
Consultation of archaeological, documentary and cartographic archives identified no known archaeological features or findspots within the area of proposed works. There was evidence of a Romano-British settlement site some 300 metres north of the study area, including the site of a possible temple, and evidence of a DMV and associated earthworks to the south. Sydenhams Farmhouse itself was a Grade II* Listed Building, and a number of adjoining buildings were Grade II Listed. [Au(abr)] |
