Abstract: |
<summary>A watching brief on the excavated telecommunications trench recovered one piece of pottery dating evidence; a body sherd of probable 12th/13th century date. This came from what was likely to have been an occupation layer, sealed by a deposit of sand, probably wind-blown. Chalk walls possibly dating to the 12th/13th century or earlier were also observed. {italon}Au(abr){italoff} {italon}SMR Primary Record Numbers:{italoff} TR34SW178 |
