Abstract: |
Two trenches were excavated to the immediate west of the stables block in the grounds of Nostell Priory. A spread of sandstone rubble was observed which corresponded with an obvious parch mark in the grass, it was not thought to have any archaeological value. There was no evidence to suggest that the domestic ranges of the former priory had extended across the affected area. [Au(adp)] |
