Abstract: |
An additional gradiometer survey was carried out on land subject to a proposed housing development in order to determine the extent of anomalies detected in an earlier survey. Two linear anomalies thought to be ditches were located, with a possible entrance in one. These were part of the system of field enclosure identified during an earlier gradiometer survey. Two faint negative anomalies were seen running east to west, they were thought to represent plastic water pipes. Ridge and furrow was also seen aligned north to south. [Au(adp)] |
