Abstract: |
Fieldwalking was undertaken to establish the presence of archaeologically significant remains in the proposed development area. The work was carried out in two phases. The finds recovered suggested, by their quantity, character and level of abrasion, manuring of the site had occured during the Roman, medieval and post-medieval periods. The prehistoric finds appeared to represent small scale visitation during that period. [Au(adp)] |
