Abstract: |
Two trial trenches were excavated on the site. The earliest deposits were flood deposits. Two medieval beam slots, possibly from a timber framed building, were recorded, followed by further flood deposits and post-medieval rubbish deposition. A limestone surface of 18th-19th century date, possibly for a quay, was the next use of the site identified. [Au(abr)] |
