Abstract: |
An evaluation was carried out at the proposed site of a house, which lay within an archaeological priority zone. Mesolithic, Neolithic and Bronze Age artefacts had been found throughout the surrounding area, and Roman and Saxon burials were recorded along with a suspected Roman road about 1km to the north. One trench was excavated, but no archaeological features or finds were encountered. No further work was recommended. [AIP] |
