Abstract: |
A programme of archaeological evaluation was undertaken in advance of a proposed site redevelopment. Two trenches were excavated and revealed a significant level of medieval activity, yielding a substantial assemblage of late medieval pottery. Two stone walls, one dated to the medieval period, as well as a brick wall were also present. A number of small pits were also revealed which may also been of medieval origin. [Au(adp)] |
