Abstract: |
A number of sites of archeological interest were recorded, the assessment concluded that a number of sites required further investigation and recording. There was also a need for regular monitoring during the opencast operation, by an archaeological inspector. The disturbed nature of the present site topography indicated a low potential for the interpretation of the visible remains, but a high potential for the recovery of further sites of some archaeological importance during opencast excavation.[Au(adp)] |
