An archaeological assessment was carried out on the site. The assessment identified that it was located next to the Scheduled Monument of the remains of the Church of Lenton Cluinaic Priory and was the probable location of many of the associated Priory buildings. The potential for archaeology prior to the medieval period was considered low. Some of the standing structures on the site were identified as having historical potential. [Au(abr)] |
