Abstract: |
An evaluation was carried out at a site which lay within an area where evidence of prehistoric activity and Roman occupation had previously been found. A medieval settlement was also known to have existed, describing an arc around the south of the site. Three trenches were excavated, and flint scrapers of uncertain date were recovered. Roman and post-medieval pottery, and food waste were also found.[Au(abr)] |
