Abstract: |
An archaeological evaluation was undertaken on the site which was once occupied by two buildings noted on a map of 1635. The evaluation revealed evidence for post-medieval occupation on the site, demonstrated by the presence of metal-working debris with associated post-medieval pottery sherds. The potential for medieval remains was also noted and the tenuous dating of walls to this period revealed during the excavations was observed. [AIP] |
