Abstract: |
A watching brief during construction of a supermarket observed Iron Age and medieval features. The Iron Age features, including pits, fell within the area of a previous excavation, whilst pits and a wall dating from between the 11th and 13th century were also observed. Other areas were archaeologically sterile or damaged by later activity.[AIP] |
