Abstract: |
Numerous complexes of high archaeological potential were identified throughout the study area. These were thought to be the result of extensive occupation, possibly continuous settlement from the Roman to medieval periods. Two possible kilns or hearths were tentatively identified. The responses extended outwards in all directions except northwards, where a weak magnetic linear feature defined a boundary. Several phases of ploughing were encountered, including ridge and furrow.
