Abstract:
Archaeological deposits and features dating from medieval times (late 13th/early 14th centuries) to the modern era were observed and recorded in two evaluations on land within the medieval core of Bridgwater. These findings were consistent with the known development of the town from its medieval origins through to its 18th and 19th century expansion as an industrial centre. [Au]
